Both of her parents, she and all six of her siblings, as well as her only son all attended Catholic schools. She values the faith formation that is so instrumental to developing a young person’s character, and she appreciates that it comes without any sacrifice to academic rigor.<\/p>\n
With 20 years of experience in Catholic secondary education as an advancement professional, and currently serving as President of an all-girls Catholic high school, she has made a career of impacting Catholic schools in and around Chicago. Her strengths include developing strategic and long-range fundraising plans and coaching and developing staff.<\/p>\n
Laura’s professional and personal experience has found her working alongside archdiocesan schools, but also with the Sacred Heart, Dominican and Holy Cross charisms. Through this variety she has come to appreciate the fine distinctions between congregations and is always looking at what unique differentiator each individual school may have to offer and capitalize upon.<\/p>\n
Laura has an MBA and an MEd, and as a result finds pleasure in diving into data analysis and empirical evidence. Her husband insists it’s likely only a matter of time before she decides to get that PhD.\u00a0 In the meantime, now that her son is at college and she no longer has to run to hockey rinks across the Midwest, her hobbies include knitting, gardening, crossword puzzles, and baking.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t![\"Curley\"](\"https:\/\/meitler.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Curley.jpg\" "\\"Curley\\"")
