Senior Consultant
Dan Heding has spent a lifetime in Catholic education, attending Catholic elementary schools, high school, and college.
As a consultant for Meitler, he brings over twenty years of Catholic school experience, twelve of those years as a school principal in Catholic urban and suburban environments. He has led through many challenges that schools have faced in recent years including navigating a school through the COVID pandemic and into recovery, and transitioning two schools through systems change into a school network. As a practitioner before, during, and after the pandemic, Dan brings expertise in operating a school within the new educational landscape.
Dan earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University.
Dan, his wife Tina, and two kids are members of St. Leonard Parish in Muskego, Wisconsin, and all have attended Catholic schools. This passion and legacy of Catholic education in his family manifests in the work he does with our clients. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hiking, and woodworking.
