Senior Consultant
Carol Ward serves as a senior consultant with Meitler. She has dedicated her life to her passion – Catholic education and the transformative experience it provides for children and families. During Carol’s service in Catholic education, she has taught all grade levels from kindergarten through university level and has served in diverse communities across the country that include urban, suburban, rural, and Native American reservation schools. She has served as an administrator on the elementary and high school levels, as an assistant superintendent in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, and as an associate superintendent in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee.
Leadership on the Archdiocesan level has brought Carol into literally hundreds of schools, and she has seen the way that Catholic education thrives in each unique community. She has been involved in school mergers, expansions, board training, leadership training and has a special love for strengthening Catholic culture and finding creative solutions for schools.
Carol earned her bachelor’s degree in education and religious studies at Silver Lake College and her master’s degree through the Institute for Catholic Educational Leadership at the University of San Francisco.
A Wisconsin native, Carol enjoys the outdoors: hiking, biking, and kayaking in the warm weather and snow activities in the winter. She is an avid sports fan rooting for her beloved Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers.
