In 2016, the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon asked Meitler to assist with creating a strategic plan for PK-12 Catholic school education throughout the archdiocese. The plan provided a common framework to direct all areas of school life, including Catholic identity, leadership, enrollment, academics, and finances. In tandem with the archdiocesan plan, Meitler helped the Catholic Schools Endowment Foundation to focus their plan with a clearer case for the support of Catholic schools and structure for moving forward.
